Aether & Root collects as little as possible. We don’t run ads, we don’t use analytics or tracking cookies, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Your email, if you give it to us. If you join the list, we keep your email address so we can write when the decks are ready. It’s stored with Brevo, the service that sends our letters, and used for nothing else. Every letter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
Your messages, if you write to us. If you email letsbloom@aetherandroot.com, we have your email and whatever you chose to tell us. We use it to reply, and for nothing else.
Ordinary server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address, pages requested, and time of visit) for security and troubleshooting. We don’t use these to profile or track you.
Nothing you write on the Inner Work page is ever sent to us or to anyone. Your writing is saved only in your own browser, on your own device, so you can pick up where you left off. You can download it, copy it, or erase it all with one tap — and clearing your browser’s stored data erases it too. Your theme preference for that page is stored the same way, on your device only.
Purchases will be processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store full card numbers. We’ll receive what’s needed to fulfill your order — your name, email, shipping address for physical decks, and what you bought. One honest detail worth knowing: digital deck files are individually marked with the buyer’s email and order number, which is how we protect the artwork without locking the files down.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page loads. The Kindred and Lights pages link to other brands and creators; once you leave our site, their privacy practices apply, not ours.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Unsubscribe from the list any time using the link in any letter. To have your email or messages deleted from our records, write to letsbloom@aetherandroot.com and we’ll take care of it.
